The startup Luko, based in Paris, has just closed a €2M financing round. Besides EVOLEM Start, the other financial partners are : Xavier Niel (Free, Kima Ventures, Station F…), Pierre-Yves Durand, former Axa’s marketing director, Pierre-Olivier Desaulle, ex-CEO of the insurance Hiscox in Europe, Arnaud Le Bihan, founder of GEOP Assistance and the French insurance specialist in disaster recovery, the Afflelou family and the CEO of de Leroy Merlin and eFounders.
Luko was founded in 2016 by Raphaël Vullierme and Benoît Bourdel. Luko has developed a smart box, which is economical and easy to install, to protect homes and optimise their energy consumption (water, gas, electricity). With which Luko wants to shake up the world of home insurance. Luko is tackling this sector by offering straightforward, transparent home insurance, that is equitable and associated with sensors to prevent disasters.
