Le Valdocco – “Hors les murs”

A long-standing player in community-based educational prevention, the charity supports young people and families living in extreme poverty in working-class neighbourhoods. The project aims to transform their work in the Barges-Cachin neighbourhood (in Vaulx-en-Velin) – an isolated area plagued by violence – by combining their outreach work on the streets with the creation of a permanent base: a Social Life Centre.
